I can't comment on the JR radio, but I can with the EVO 46.

It is a user friendly, high-power sport engine. Very similar in power to the TT 46 Pro & just a tiny bit less than the OS 46 AX. It is not quite as slick as either the TT or the OS, having (perhaps) slightly more variable quality. There have been reports of some troublesome examples, but I have never seen one myself & it certainly has a much better track record than the Tower 46 or GMS 47.

If the price is right, it would be a reasonable choice. If you have to pay as much (or close) as a TT Pro or OS AX, get the TT or OS.
