Went out about an hour ago to play with the FunFactor.

So far I have not had any really brutal crashes. Broken diff cups, front axles and front diff case is about all! All the parts that break anyway according to you guys!

I noticed when I hit the brakes (completly upgraded) that the front wheels were locking and then free wheeling and then locking again...and the clacking/grinding noise of gears could be heard...Shut eveything down and tore the front diff apart AGAIN!

Every single part inside fell out in the hole in the bottom of the case in the form of chips, chunks and powder all mashed together with grease.

Looks like what happened was the 3 screws (Tpfh2x15) that hold the internal gear housing (FF004) to the bevel gear sheared right off. These chewed up the internal gear housing into mush including the spider gears (FFS027) which in turn tore 1/2 the teeth off my bevel gear (FFS028)!

Does anyone know how this happened? Did I do something wrong? Everything in the diff. is stock. Except now I will be ordering the hardened steel components!

Anyway, now I sit and wait for 2 weeks (Cause I live in Canada and I order parts from CustomRCCars.com) with the FF back to two wheel drive.

I HATE two wheel drive....I waited SOOOOOO long for my front axles to get in and now this!

...and I still have not even installed my OS .18 CV-RX engine I got last week!

This bites...I have had my FF for 40 days and I spend more time fixing and tweaking than I do playing! NUBE pains I guess!

Let me know everyone...I wanna get my FF running such that I dont have to fix something every 5 tanks!
