RE: ??? for genesis owners
The engine is about 2 and 1/2 months old, but I did follow the instructions for "breaking it in," although I didn't measure the temp. It was working O.K. since the break in, (stopping occasionally, but maybe because of the mixtures?) but I was running it fast when it broke. I read that the sleeve in the engine is tapered, so if the piston is stuck, is there a way to push it down into the wider part of the sleeve? Or, do I need to rebuild the engine, replace the piston and sleeve, and break it in again? Also, if it doesn't need rebuilding, can I do something to expand the sleeve to its proper size so that this won't happen again? I don't think that the engine broke because it was too hot, because of the "spit test."
Thanks
