RE: -Club Property Damage
Accidents happen. If the guy is an active member in GOOD standing, was following the posted rules of the club, then a reasonable club of friends will to pay for it. Everyone can foul up or have equipment failures; no one in the club should assume it can't happen to them.
Now, if the club is full of political backstabbing... time to find (or start) a new club.
