I had a MDS 148 with a jett engineering muffler in a Hanger 9 Edge 540. Not nearly enough power and that engine in my book stands for mostly dead sticks. Some people have gotten them to run well. Mine did not and I am not keen on buying extra things to make a new engine run right. A few dollars more, get an OS 160 for the plane and you will never look back.
