Hey I am building MKII also. I have it all built and sanded and next step is to cover. Still working out my trim scheme and getting nerves settled to fire up the iron. I just followed the instructions and everything has worked out pretty well. 10oz tank in the nose was a tight fit but other than that it has gone together well. Oh by the way I am using a OS 40 LA in mine so probably not quite as much power as you will have.
