The only real difference would be weight. The CH ignitions are much lighter than a coil and a flywheel. I just finished a Toro 25 and the weight difference is almost a pound and a half. I do all my conversions with the CH ignition. This Toro was a test. No difference with performance either way. But the big difference is the cost of the ignition, $100 to $150 depending on options like Bosch cap and Syncrospark. For those of us that are tuned to cost my experiment with the Toro shows that for $25 for the engine (new) and a couple hours on the lathe, one could be flying gas for less than $30 sans the electronic ignition. Take that Tower Hobbies!!
