I finally got to fly mine last weekend. The YS 1.20NC is running rough and I am having a little trouble with the idle, but I didn't let that stop me.

My first impressions are favorable. It flies very much like a SIG SE and with a 17X6 prop and that thick wing it simply won't go too fast, and it will fly very slowly. I wonder what crow will be like? I still need to get the CG and the control throws right. As it stands now it barely holds KE and won't really spin. The snap rolls are kinda funky too... The ailerons are surprisingly effective and rolls are very axial. I really enjoyed flying it straight up until it stopped, and pulling full up elevator. It would just pivot about the wing and come down without gaining too much speed.

I am also impressed with the HS5475HB digital servos that I have installed. I was afraid that an 1100 mah 5 cell pack would not be enough to drive all 8 servos. After 2 10 minute flights the voltage was still more than 6.5 volts. I'll need to discharge with my cycler to be sure, but right now it appears that they are not all that power hungry.

Now if I can just get the YS sorted out...
