I tought myself on the firebird. It is a two channel RTF. It's under $100.00 and cheap to replace wings. I was paying $20.00 each for the main wing and $8.00 for the V-tail wing. If you damage the wings you can use aluminume tape to repair it, just put the same amount of tape on the other side to help balanc it. This palne is nothing like a four channel type, in regards of as fun to fly after you learn the four channel, but it was fun learning with. It will teach you the very basic's of flying because you can fly it with or without the landing gear on. Also this is not a good plane for wind because it is very light.
