As I get closer to the completion of assembling this ARF, I'm thinking I'm going to come in right at 4 lbs without the engine. If I put the OS 46FX in it, I'll be right at 5 lbs, perhaps a hair over. When I ran my H9 Twist with this engine, I could hover it between 3/4 and full throttle swinging a 12.25x3.75 APC. Grant it, that leaves almost nothing in reserve to get out of trouble, but it was possible. That plane weight in at 5lb 8oz. I'm seriously considering running the 46FX in this plane and saving the Saito 82 that I bought for it for another plane.

I guess I can try both, then wait until I make a final decision before cutting the cowl. I have other planes to fly 3D with, so I didn't plan on doing much with this one other than some scale-like flying. I'm sure the 46 would be fine for that. I can't decide what to do. Maybe I have to try both. Anyone have any thoughts?
