The 110 wouldn't fit cleanly under the cowl.
Did you replace the flywheel with a solid state ignition? I have had two G-62s with the C&H Ignition module conversion, what a great combo. So much easier to start, lighter, looks better and seemed more powerful.

Actually the 110 is 10.5 from tip of plug to tip of plug. The 62 is over 6 inches from center shaft to tip of plug, if my memory serves me.
I will try to post a picture, the fly wheel is mostly gone in the conversion to electronic. Ralph (RCIGN1) does some beautiful work, It now weighs with ignition 4lbs
