Default RE: GP CAP 232 3D ARF

My VISION and DOUBLE VISION used DA50's with 23 x 8 props on them. They were in the 17 lb range.

I am pretty well known for the following power-rule expresion.

Too little is dumb,
The right amount is not enough, and
Too much is just right.

Add to that "I'll never use it all!" and you can see where I am coming from. You might be able to fit the DA header and short pipe under teh landing gear, which will move the weight back and sound pretty good.

You must video ths for us all to see?

Regards,

Eric.

The GP 79" CAP 232 is a very light plane. I would love to see you go vertical with this puppy!

Eric:

I just finished mine with DA50. It came out at 13.25lb with slimline pitts. The CG is 5 3/4 from leading edge as stated. Is this a conservative CG for such as precision? In order for me to shift CG to back, I will have to replace slimline with stock DA muffler to shave 5oz from the nose.
