RE: Quad split servo extension for bi-plane
You can use a JR Matchbox. It will handle 4 servos. Adjust endpoints and neutral points for each servo. Adjust travel for all the servos. Even reverse direction for any that may need it. $70 apiece. It'll work perfect.
You can use the 8103 to mix them, but you'll have to use 2 Y-harness'. One Y on the top wing and another Y on the bottom wing.
Top wing servos go into Y and plug that into Aileron.
Bottom wing servos go into Y and plug that into Gear.
Use PMIX #5 or PMIX #6. Either one will work. These 2 mixes will have automatic trim included in the mix. So, when you trim the ailerons on the TX--all them will respond.
PMIX 5:
Plug top wing into Ailerons
Plug bottom wing into Gear.
Set mix for Ail as the master and Gear as the slave.
Set your mix rate to 100% with the aileorn stick in both left and right positions.
Go to GEAR travel adjustment and set the travel to 0% with your gear switch in BOTH positions. This will deactivate the gear switch so that in case you accidentally flip it during flight--the plane won't corkscrew out of control as the bottom wing ailerons deflect to full throw. You'll have to use GEAR Sub Trim to adjust the sub trims on the bottom wing. Use aileron sub trim to adjust ailerons.
This will work. Gauranteed. If you need more help--PM or Email me.
