I've got to agree with Britbrat, the Nexstar is a better choice. Unless you need the motor and the radio steer away from the whole RTF combo if you can. I say this because one of the first things that gets thrown out is the AFS system, so why pay for it if you aren't going to use it?? I've taught quite a few students that had the Nexstar and it's a nice flying plane. You'll do fine with it.
