Most radios (computer radios) have at least the basic programming for helis and airplanes, and some add sailplanes built in. Yes, the basic programming is there. When you set up your aircraft, you tell the radio what kind of aircraft it is, and you'll have certain options specific to that type of aircraft. I don't know about the two hitec radios that you mentioned, but I'm pretty certain the futaba nine channel will have all three programs.
