Put the plane on a scale. If it's heavier than 40oz, then putting the micro servo in makes sense. Otherwise, it doesn't, and I wouldn't bother. Fwiw, I use a standard on elevator and aileron, and a micro on throttle, mostly because it fits in the fuse.
