i am considering a makita 4-stroke for this plane,but,i am wondering.
i have a new 31cc ryobi 2 ring engine,with JAG mount,aluminum pitts muffler,C&H electronic ignition(with hub sensor,no flywheel) and the stock carb. will this combo pull the dynaflite chipmunk i am building? do i need to do some mods to the carb?
when i ask if it will pull this plane,i don't want a wallowing pig,nor am i looking for hovering or torque-rolls,but i would like it to have a nice reserve of power. any thoughts or suggestions? thanks in advance.
