The Pica ART's seem to be very well built. The P-51B qualifies for
part 2610 of the combat rules for competition, so it appears to be
built a little stout. It is heavier than you would expect for this size
model. I am not installing the wire gear that came with it. I also
chose to paint it instead of covering. It is fully sheeted and comes
totally primed, so to me it is easier to spray some Lustrecote on it.
That's where I'm stuck at, is painting and the weather has not
been cooperating. It has been pretty cold and snowy the last few
days, (see pic below), and since I paint indoors in my apartment
during bad weather, the cold keeps me from opening any of my
windows. Whether I get to fly it after it's done is another thing to
consider now that winter has arrived. I'm sure we'll get a sunny
day and then I will see how she flies. When I'm done with the
paint, I'll post some more pics.
