I've got an OS20 setting around and would like to find an ARF to use it on. Any suggestions? Prefer a low wing sport plane would consider others. I'm not expecting stellar performance in any case.
Thanks

I'm putting together this Pica P-51B ART that I got recently. It is a
fully sheeted plane that comes just as you see it out of the box.
They prime it and can be covered or painted. Will take up to a .26
size engine. I also had a OS .20 laying around and this is what it
will go in. It is a combat scale 1/12 with a 40" wingspan. I'm not
using the gear that it comes with, but will hand launch and belly
it in. Pica has this and many more combat warbirds at:

By just dropping in your engine and radio gear, makes for a quick
builder, although the cowl takes some carving out to fit the engine
and such.

That little mustang looks great for the bucks. How does the quality look? How soon will you have yours in the air? Please, let me know all about it.
Thanks,

The Pica ART's seem to be very well built. The P-51B qualifies for
part 2610 of the combat rules for competition, so it appears to be
built a little stout. It is heavier than you would expect for this size
model. I am not installing the wire gear that came with it. I also
chose to paint it instead of covering. It is fully sheeted and comes
totally primed, so to me it is easier to spray some Lustrecote on it.
That's where I'm stuck at, is painting and the weather has not
been cooperating. It has been pretty cold and snowy the last few
days, (see pic below), and since I paint indoors in my apartment
during bad weather, the cold keeps me from opening any of my
windows. Whether I get to fly it after it's done is another thing to
consider now that winter has arrived. I'm sure we'll get a sunny
day and then I will see how she flies. When I'm done with the
paint, I'll post some more pics.
