Remember, just because you use the flaperon function doesn't mean you have to use flaps. Just dial the flaps out and don't setup the landing switch with any flap amount. But the flaperon function gives you complete control for tweaking and trimming your ailerons. Just mixing the Y'd top to the Y'd bottom eliminates a lot of control, like seperate travel and end point tuning and even differential if needed.
