Default RE: MVVS Engines

...they only run real good with a Super Tigre glow plug...
JimKitty,

Welcome to RC Universe!

Who told you this non-sense???

MVVS engines are designed to use 0-5% nitro fuel, as they come (but can have one extra head shim installed for up to 15% nitro).
They need 20%+ oil, of which at least half is Castor!. Sig Champion and PowerMaster GMA fuels are examples of suitable, commercially available fuels, with a suitable lubricant package.

The .26 and larger engine run great with the MVVS/Novarossi C6 medium-cold glow-plug (included), or with an OS #8, Enya #4, K&B-1L, Fox Std Long, J&Z long, or even the Tower Power medium. Smaller MVVS engines will run on a hotter plug.

They will run badly if you try using more nitro, less oil (or less Castor), or a hot glow-plug, like the OS A3...
