I'd rather not say, so take it with a grain of salt. If I say which brand bit me, this thread will be dragged into a Ford vs Chevy vs you must have done something wrong fiasco. I have learned my lesson with that.

I'm just going to say I'll never use anything but the ES 2C140M80 behind an OS140 and stock header again. If brand x or y or z works for whoever else then that's great! But not for me. I'm sticking with what always has worked for me. Scratch built pattern planes are too much work and time and cash to mess around with an unknown factor.

The plane is not totalled, but it's definitely injured. I'll fix it if I ever get any spare time, right now I have 2 brand new ones about a week from test flying, so I'll just gut the original.
