Ummm...you had to ask didn't you!

The actual plane build which is 80% complete took about 5 months at a leisurely weekend pace.

The cockpit and undercarriage...about 400 hrs! and still counting. That is purely down to scale detailing and working out how to get the undercarriage to pull back 23 degrees to miss the main spar whilst folding up, and allowing the doors to sit flat.

If ever there was a test of a modelers resourcefulness, that was it!

No such problem with the Spitfire I suspect, if there is , it is on a different scale.
