RE: VQ ARFS
I have owned three VQ planes over the years. My first VQ plane was the P51 and it was a great little plane. It flew very nice and looked awesome. My second VQ plane was the macchi and it was crap. I bought it on ebay and it was a very old version of the plane. I don't fault VQ for that plane, because it was very old and I know they have made many improvements.
My third (and current) VQ plane is their new AT-6 texan. I just got it a few months ago and the quality is excellent. I purchased it directly from VQ. There was some damage to the plane, so a new one was shipped out right away. THe second plane also came damaged, so replacement parts were sent right away. They were very helpful and willing to make my plane right. THe build was very straightforward and the plane details are exceptional. I have not flown it yet, but if it flies anything like my p51 it should be great. I say go for it, you will be happy. VQ models does take some criticism here on this forum, but mostly that is related to their older arfs.
