Howdy,

How much of the U shaped portion of the lower cowl did you cut away? I have cut back to the ridge and it doesn't quite fit. It looks like I'll need to cut away the ridge, but I am afraid that it will lose some needed stiffness. I am mounting my engine inverted and will need another opening in the bottom for th muffler...

Also, the book included in my CAP shows two bolts on the landing gear, but my model has four... Is this a newer version? I thought the latest version had a hollowed out foam turtle deck. Mine did not come hollowed out...
