Hello everyone,
I actually just flew the Mustang PTS today, with mild winds. I found the plane hard to trim with the flap always in the down position. and the plane kept wanting to clime, although this can be trimmed out to an extinct, it still want to clime due to the flaps. The landing approaches and touch downs are absolutley perfect, all 3 point landings. All in all this is an excellant flyers. I do reccomment puting in the functional flaps as I will have mine in by this weekend. The motor seemed a little week, new motors do, but a little adjustments on the low end was needed. I took the airbrakes off before even flying. This would slow the plane down way too much.

I know what you mean re: trim with the flaps down> I install the servo before the first flight, and noticed that it wanted to climb, worst if you were at WOT. I had to turn them off when up and flying, just trim with the flaps up, and when you need the flaps, to take off or land, you should not have to re trim. I only use the flaps for no wind for take off and land, otherwise there off. too bad the radio does not have a prorportional knob to adjust the flaps, some other TX have them, not this JR model.
Your motor will get better with time and flaps up.
