I have had the same question going around my head for a while, I think the saito 220 would have more power overall but as you say it would weigh in half a pound heavier than with the YS. I've heard although I have no persobal experience with the YS that the 160 is difficult to start and if you dont set it up just right and run 30% glow fuel in her she will not run reliably.

Iam just about to place an order for the saito and put it in the Dave Patrick Ultimate. It will sound great and pull it verticle at around 12.75lbs. Iam gonna fit it with the Perry pump so I can sit the tank on the C 0f G.

I will probably have to move the battery pack aft and locate servos in the tail to counter balance the weight but I feel this will be a minor inconvenience for all the extra power it will have. I just dont think the YS will be as strong of an engine as the saito since the saito is around .60cu bigger.

I would welcome any further comments and will post a flight report when ready.
