I had no idea that they were so fragile, I've never, I mean never broken an axle like that, much less a CVD type. I have snapped some from twisting of torque thru time, but not from a crash. I would like to say it's from the wheel size but my old Savage had the 7.7" HB wheels + tires and it flipped, rolled, hit a mail box, cars, and fences, never once broke it's cvd's much less even bend them. This really bums[&o], I will give them a call, maybe it will help future Nemi's, in the mean time I will just replace them and get in touch with the local machine shop and see what they can conjure up.
