wicked thanks guys. this is a very low key comp (inter club comp, flying the scale aeros, but there is a freestyle element.) i will be test flying the plane for the first time on sunday, the comp is on april 8. I'm seeing that smoothness far outweighs technical difficulty. this is what i had assumed. thanks heaps for you help, and i will let you know how it goes.
