Any idea's on this, the wife thinks I'm having an affair. (I am and it's with a P-51 PTS). Went out yesterday with my instructor, He brought his high wing trainer and I brought my P-51. We took the eagle 2 up first. Flew OK but had a ton of wind. Avg, 15 mph gust up to 25. After a couple of flight on this thing w/ the buddy box he said it's just to windy up there for a trainer. So we sat there and watched others fly. Finaly I had had enough " HEY Lee lets put the mustang up, If it crashes I'll just get another one I want to fly" His response" It's your bird" SOOOOooooo I fuel her up hook up the buddy box and off we go. He said he'll take it up trim it out then its all mine. To make a long story short We had a BLAST, the thing handled the wind alot better and ended up almost burning a full Gal. of fuel. Even had a couple of guys come up and want to know which one was flying.. ( ME THE WHOLE TIME) This plane impressed alot of folks.
