Default 3 wires on battery?

Pauly,
you only need the positive and negative wire on
a battery. Positive wire is red most of the time,
and the negative wire is generally black or in
some cases brown.

Some put 'Servo' leads on batteries, but do not
connect the 'signal wire'.

The signal wire will be white, yellow, orange, or
in the case of the older Airtronics connectors,
they will be black.

Your battery is wired up properly, but the third
wire, or what is called the signal wire, is not
connected.

hope this helps you.

Roy
