Default RE: need a little advice

I read several of the forums, including Kit Building, but I tend to think trainer builds belong here. When I started building my PT-60 I was very scared of the whole building process. I asked a bunch of questions here, and even more at the field. Sometimes I took my parts to the field, or to a club meeting, to get opinions and advice.

I have now built two kits, so I'd still consider myself a novice builder. I'm much less intimidated by kits, now, than I was when I opened the first one. I think build threads for trainer planes are a great way to ease the intimidation factor. If other people who have been afraid to try building see that it's really not a monumental task to build a plane, maybe they'll give it a try.

I like kits and I like ARFs. I am really glad I built the first two kits and have two more waiting. I'm in the middle of assembling a Big Stik 60 ARF right now and will probably start one of the kits soon after that.
