Default RE: typhoon 3d esc

I just received a new controller from Horizon after mine fried in the plane. My plane flew great on 2 stock battery runs. I added 2100 lipos and on the 5th lipo flight it started to stutter as I spun up the motor to take off. I looked down at the plane and smoke was pouring from inside the canopy. I quickly removed the lipo and went straight to the hobby shop. As I tore it down, the wires were melted off the ESC and the ESC was a chunk of plastic and board. Horizon sent new esc, motor, and gearbox. I purchased a Eflight 20 amp to use. When I picked up my stuff, the owner showed me 4 Typhoon ESCs he was sending back to Horizon for replacement. Some of them fried right on 1st power up. So, I have new ESC, and replaced all the servos. This thing became expensive real quick. I will never buy RTF again. Replacement airframes with equipment that I trust.. That is how I buy now.
