Thats a pretty good deal. I picked up a Hitech 81 for my elevator today. Will the stock servo arms fit I hitech servo, or do I need to buy larger servo arms for it to work properly?

Olds,
The video was great to watch, you have skills!
I've been trin to hover my stock Ty with lipo's for 3 months with no luck. I can't seem to hold it for more than 1 or 2 seconds.
Should I add wieghts to the tail?

Well, i wouldnt say that but thanks. Where does your typhoon balance at? i read the balance point was 3inches from the leading edge, also 90mm. ive made both of those marks and mine is right inbetween. about 85mm.Which prop are you using? Im running the 13inch, I treid the 12 but it didnt have the pull out power with the stock battery. i havent tried the 12 inch with the lipo. I got the typhoon to practice for the passion 3d plane i got almost two years ago. And last summer I only flew about 10 times. It does take practice. Spring is finally here, I had the last 5 months to practice on my sim. Im a not a presision type flyer. i tend to wring it out and dou what ever comes to mind. I have no problems with using all stick travel when needed or otherwise.

I'm using the 13" prop. The CG is right on, too.
What do you think of moving the CG to 4" with a little weight on the tail. I'm concerned I won't be able to contol by doing so.
I've had the Typhoon since December and have at least 200 flights.
I go to the field before work for an hour and get 3 lipo flights.
Over all this plane is great it takes a beating, has tons of power.

I would not start at 4 inches, put a little weight on at a time. I am using a 1500ma pack, so its a little tail heavy. I have not measured it but it dragging the tail pretty good. I used an Eflight 20 amp esc as a replacement.

A little weight on the tail helpped my Typhoon with hovering.

I started by taping a metal screw to the tail (I used clear packing tape). After noticing some improvement, I increased the size of the metal screw until I was satisfied with the way it flew and hovered.

I flew today with about 2 oz on the tail. CG was about 5", way too much. I didn't have any other wieght with me so I just took it off.

My ESC was bad right out of the box. I use a CC now with TP 2100 lipos.

I have replaced all the electrical components other than the motor and mine flies great. They should have a replacement airframe option for purchase like they currently have for the P51 and M109. The plane is a blast to fly.
