Those little electric jobbies aren't going to fly in much wind at all. If you want to fly in some wind, you have to go bigger. At least 40 sized. Nitro, or big electric either one. I prefer nitro and gas, but to each his own.
BTW, before you dive into a big nitro powered plane, I suggest you get an instructor. Without it, your plane won't last long, and your hands might not either. It's a completely different animal from those wattage planes. Also, start with a trainer--not a warbird. If not, you don't even know the definition of frustrated...
