Default RE: Looking for a Biplane

Moneymaker,

I've had the Tecate, and it DOES fly on a Thunder Tiger .46 without any problem. But it IS a temperamental little wench, and it WILL bite you if you do anything wrong at all with her, either in flying or with setup. Also, the top wing isn't fastened on all that well, and the guys are right to say she is heavy for her size.. Might I make a suggestion? Same sized , almost, ARF, called the Sun Dancer 50 Bipe ARF from Sig. Proven flying ability, good quality on the building, flies like anything and is very stable too. Kinda pretty, too. I have the Big Sun Dancer gasser ARF, what a beauty. I had plans on getting the 50 size Sun Dancer Bipe as well. However, I was recently sidetracked when GP announced the release of their Super Skybolt.....bigger, but I've always wanted one. I'll get the Sun Dancer 50 ARF next time around..
