Default Help - need real thrust for AXI 2212/34

I am getting conflicting information on the AXI 2212/34

The web sit at www.flyingmodels.org shows
11X4.7 APC (SF) prop on 10 Cells (I have 3s TP 1320 Gen 2) uses 10.7 amps and delivers 30.2 oz thrust.

Foam Factory (gets numbers from motocalc)
11X4.7 APC prop on 3c lipoly uses 10.6 amps and delivers 22 oz of thrust.

Somebody is quite wrong! It is critical I get a setup that delivers 30 oz. Enlighten me.

A lot of people in the 3D forum fly this setup. How much thrust are you getting? prop, amps and battery?

No idea of thrust but my raven weighs 15 oz's after all the crash repair i've given it and it hovers at about 1/2 throttle. It pulls out pretty well but might not be twice the plane's weight. Hard to tell without a measuring device.

setup:
3dfoamy raven
axi 2212-34
tp 1320 3 cell pack
apc sf 11-4.7

You can see video of my plane flying in my back yard to get a feel of full power vertical. The first climb out is at full throttle.

www.psk560.com I think it's the second video link from the top.

Hope this helps some.

22 oz is the more acurate reading. Flying my fliton icon weighing in at ~22 oz it will just barely pull upwards after momentum dies right at the beginning of a battery charge.

I really need a new motor/batt combo for that thing...

2212/34 is better suited to 14-15 oz foamys than larger wooden aircraft like the icon or mini funtana.

APC 12x6E and APC 13x4E gives you nearly 900 gram of thrust on that motor measured with 10cells NiCd... And the amp-draw is about 10 Amp...

Thanks JooNorway, for us that are metric handicapped that translates to 31 oz of thrust.

Has anyone else actually measured the thrust?
