Thanks Don,

That takes care of the rear of the canopy. What did you do for the Cowl and lower pan to secure those two together? At the very front where the cowl and Pan meet, and the sides? Did you use tape in those areas?
Filton said to use clear tape at the front.

Thanks again,
Stan

if anyone is interested in a completely built quiet storm with himax 2025 motor/ gearbox/ speedcontrol already installed, let me know. i also have lots of extra parts for it (tail section, wing, landing gear, canopy, etc.). $185 for everything. since it's already built, local pickup in southern california only.

thanks.

I just made another post about this, but seams this was the place I should of looked first...

Two questions...

1. Should I worry about getting a new kit and try to order for Fliton directly to prevent the wing failure problem?

2. What motor / Speed controller and battery should I get? I like the things i've heard about hackers, but i know a few people with himax too.

I will be flying pattern with this plane, very little 3D. Althought, i might want to try :-)

Steve,

I am using a Park 480 on mine. 11x5e prop, 40 esc, and a TP 2100 battery, Flys very very nice.

I beefed up the spar joiner as Fliton suggested, and have probably over 100 flights now without any problems. You will be fine if you follow their advice. Give them a call. They are very helpful.
