Default Which plane for the E flight 1360kv outrunner?

Well, the Tensor is dead and I just don't feel like building another one. I loved the way it flew but it seemed a little too fragile. What plane would work well with this motor? I would prefer a mono plane and would like a good thrust to weight ratio. Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

3DX or Tribute would be good.

Bruce,
Anything that comes out at 10oz. will work. The most cost effective thing to do would be planes from Foamy Factory and material from DepronUSA. I was flying a larger version of the YAK which is an easy build and goes together fast. For $30 you'd get enough material to build 2 or 3 and they fly really well.

My tensor has held up so far but your right about it being fragile. I worry about it as much during transport as I do while it's flying. I might build a carrying case out of Luan.

Try one of the new planes from www.rcskydiving.com They have 2 planes now available, Edge 540 and a Pitts S2S. Both fly extremely well, but the Edge is the most stable, smooth foamy I have flown to date.

I just maiden my Tribute with a Park 370 outrunner, CC10, HeCell 3S 2000mah 6C lipo pack, had a hoot, This is my first attempt at trying to fly 3D so I can't compare the plane with another one but I was having fun. The landing gear is a little weak imho. So I had to reinforce it...other than that I think it's a fun plane to fly. I must have flown it for about 10 to 15 min...recharged the pack and put in only 1000mah....so I could have flown even longer.

Hope this helps.

Gord.
