Hi.
I just finished building by 3d plane!!!!
I was wondering what electric motor to use to have oK pawer?????
I am going to be using 3 standard sevo's.
it recomends gas but I want to go with electric.

well, the real question is how much does it weigh? the specs for the gas one says 2.2 lbs. Most of that would be for the motor, fuel tank, and support/reinforcement for gas power and weight. If you are willing to spring for (or if you already have) a brushless/lithium system, I would say it could fly quite well, its not all that different than the GWS flying pizza or ladybug, probably just a bit heavier.

The Pizza Boxes are a lot of fun...........what kind of AUW (all up weight) are you looking at?

If you're in the 9 - 15ish ounce weight range then the Himax 2015-4100 should do the trick. If your'e over that up to about 22 ounces then the Himax 2025-4200 will work.

There are other power plants out there that would work as well but these are the two that I use and am familiar with.

Is this the motor that will take this plane Up???
I hope this worksand what battery's will be best and is there any other motor that will workthe best.
