Mini Funtana/AXI 2808 ESC Settings
Hi Guys,
I'm about to install an AXI 2808/24 outrunner in my M-F with one of Hov-R-Nut's aluminum mounts.
Wondering what changes to the programing of a CC Phoenix35 might be helpful in switching from the Park 400 and gearbox to the direct drive AXI? Is anyone changing the motor timing, current limiting or pwm frequency settings away from the defaults?

I just finished the same set-up, was told to change to hard or advance timing. No other changes besides that. Too windy to fly the maided yet, have you? Wants to hover with 50-60%, seems like this is going to be a blast to fly this set-up.

Thanks Jack, do you mean "high " advance?
I hope to get the AXI-MF out next weeekend. It's been flying fine with the stock set up since I took out the motor mount downthrust. Except for the polycarbonate gearbox, in particular the spur gear and shaft which I have concluded were well intended but materially a little weak for the E-Flite 7200Kv Park 400. I'm experimenting with the AXI outrunner while I investigate Cobri gearboxes which may be able to handle the Park 400 (one HECK of a little twister on three lipos).

Hey Hangarcat,
Yeah, I meant High as in advance, there is actually a outrunner setting on the little Jeti program cards. Had a chance to fly it yesterday and today, WOW
....I had the low rates on thank God, this one gets real small real fast, unlimited vertical, very stable on the low rates and a handful on the high rates. Aileron 3/8 and Elevator 1/2, Expo 80% awesome!! 1/2 throttle most of the flight and getting 15 minutes with a cheap 3C 2200mah 8c 15 burst battery. Weight is 27oz all up.
Your going to like this motor!

Wow thanx man now I can't wait to fly my re-motored M-F. BTW what prop are you using, I'm starting with an APC 11-7E
