3D beginner please give helpful hints and tips
I've been flying electrics for two years now. I've went from trainers to others like the sky scooter pro and so on. I've wanted to get into 3D flying for a long time so I went ahead and bought an Ultrafly Furious. I'm going to try and get my feet wet with this one and see how I do at 3D. So are there any helpful hints or tip that I will need to know when I start crashing....I mean flying 3D?

get up in the sky before you get all crazy ....... a blip of power before you land ..and land into the wind helps,, but you know this...extended servo arms are good improvements....

what i did to learn a handful of basic 3d manuvers was to watch a whole lot of online videos, preferably from blaine austin/mark trent's websites a whole lot to see how they are really done. see a manuver you like? try it! try it with a whole lot of altitude, as you will likely have to bail out for a while.
thats what i did, it has worked for me.. good luck.

You ought to try your maneuvers in the Sim... I've been only flying for 2 months but 6 in the AFPD, and this last sunday I made my first Hover at 3 feet from the ground with the ucando 3D.
It really helps to fly on the simulator, if possible.. put some kind of hard winds while you practice, this way when you encounter wind at the field , you will have no problems....

i flew fms with my transmitter hooked up via usb for fourty hours before i flew a real r/c airplane... i used the toc extra & seduction models the most. yeap, thanks fms! it's really not realistic at all, but it gets the basic skills down.
