That engine you mentioned is too big for the flatout, you need something more like the Axi 2204 or mabey the Axi 2208 (Good for outdoor) with the Jeti 4 amp or 18 amp with 2208 considering the flatana is 7.5-9.0oz depending on how well you build it, the flatana is a flat light weight plane.
Why are you getting 4 servos, it requires 3 (rudder, elevator, and aileron) the 4th channel is the engine which is controlled by an electronic speed controller. I would get 3 HS-55 servos.
If I were you I would get the GWS 4 channel Pico Reciever Vertical Pin but order Futaba or JR depending on your radio but if you do get the GWS UM-1 crystal on your frequency on your radio.
Get a 3 cell Li-Po like the electrifly 11.1v 640Mah Li-Po battery or whatever.
Here is my setup and it works excellent, I love it but it can be pricey.
3 hitec HS-55
BL-8 Brushless Electronic Speed Controller
Brushless Rimfire
Electrifly 11.1v 640Mah Li-Po
GWS Pico 4 channel JR Vertical Pen Reciever
Channel 37 GWS UM-1 Crystal
9X3.8 APC SlowFly Prop (If you dont want to but a prop the stock one works great too)

foamies need to be light to fly well.....
smaller motor, esc, battery and Rx if you can.... think of it this way....
1 oz difference may not sound like much but that can be 10% or more of the weight of the plane.... a 10% weight savings is a Huge amount......
so often I hear people complain about a plane only to find out that the setup is all wrong for the application....

I guess if you are looking for longer, mellow flights, the 2 cell pack is perfect....
more power, unlimited vertical, punch out of hovers, etc. etc. but slightly shorter fkights, then it is 3 cell....
Like I mentioned, I use 3 cell....

What is wrong with the stock motor? I am using a 720 ma 3 cell pack with hs55's, a gws receiver and a 20 amp speed control that came with the nicer dean style plugs. It has all the ump I need with the 3 cell. I wouldnt get a new motor if it where me(and I didnt lol) and just get the receiver and 3 cell pack and go fly.

I'm running on the stock motor in a GWS 6.33:1 gearbox with a 1260 prop, and it's got a ton of thrust (hovers at about 1/3-3/8 throttle) and stays cool. I've got a Polyquest 3S 850 pack and a GWS ICS-300Li ESC. Couldn't ask for a better plane or setup.
