Got the only one Max had to sell at the Northwest Symposium. Got it built, and it is awsome.
An IMAC advanced flyer was there for the second flight, and flew it. He was amazed that a smaller plane such as this flew every bit as well as his multi-thousand dollar Yak. All in all a great plane. And for me being a bit slower in reaction time (70+ years) it is a wonderful plane. I especially enjoy the fact that it slows on approach to a speed that I can keep up with. He did knife edge's from one side of the field to the other. Virtually no trim right off the board. Hover, torque rolls, harriers etc. and this was on the second flight with minimum trim changes. A bit of mixing and it will fly even better.
They definately have achieved the goal of taking the big planes and making smaller planes to fly just as well. Could there be a new IMAC event in the future, devoted to smaller planes???
My Specs:
Motor AXI 2808/24
Prop APC 10/5E
Speed Control Electrifly 25 Amp
Battery Kokam 3s-1P 2000 MAH Pack
Weight RTF - 28 Oz.
Thrust 32 Oz.
Current 20 AMPs
Wats/Lb 114
Flying the new Spektrum Radio from Horizon Hobby
4 Servos
1- Pull Pull Rudder - Hitec HS-81
2 Aileron - Spektrum HS 75
1 Elevator - Hitec HS-55
Note that I am using this as a test bed for the new Spektrum Radio system. The control is solid, and in some indefinable way different. It's as if I'm actually in the plane and feeling what is happening. Totally different, for some reason than my FM radios.

HEY GREAT Pictures, now I have one extremely important question....
What is the exact distance from the Firewall to the Prop Hub.
And I'm Talking about the circular firewall not including the box frame!
I've got an idea for "power"
thanks -nate
