Jason Shulman is a great guy. He's knows how to make everyone laugh even when he had a personal loss in the family. A truely lovable guy.

The first round is over now. We'll see what the results are soon. The best 10 routines will advance into the final round where they all fly the same plane, an Edge 540T from Hobby Lobby.

I hope Jason made it into the finals. He deserves it. For him to go out there with a toy and play around with it to music in front of the world speaks volumes about him. Most would have just called it quits.

The vids from our booth were taken by Devin's Dad so I'm not sure yet which ones will be available. Most booths were scrambling to modify the Edge 540Ts per the pilots preference. We when out to dinner and came back to a bunch of them in the air being test flown. About 20 minutes until the final fun begins!

The plane auction is over and we await the announcement of the final standings.

The auction was a disgrace. It's a shame that they are dragging out the results.

Im dying to see what the scores were....anyone know? I had to jet early. You guys need to come fly at this event next year....there was tons of stuff in the background that only the competitors saw that was just as funny as chitty's smoldering pants dance. This was so much fun.

Actually yes....there is a DVD coming out sometime..not sure who is putting it out. Look for it. Im pretty sure it will have some of the background stuff that happened. Pilot interviews, behind the scenes stuff, crazyness for sure.

If anyone has video's of the flights Id like to see them. Its hard to tell what they looked like when your concentrating on your own competition.

If you've ever wanted to fly with these guys, I highly recommend attending the event next year. Its a blast no matter what your skill level. Its soooo much fun getting out there and flying in competition against these guys. Its the most fun you can have for $20 bucks and a little practice.
