Ultra RC buddy katana motor?
Anyone have a recommendation for a good motor for this bird.
Would prefer an outrunner.....

That's what I'm using on my yak. It is awesome. power to spare, very agile, and flys LIGHT! If the Katana flys as good as the Yak then you will be happy. In my case I built a motor mount out of light ply, and made sure that the motor was in line with the leading edge of the wing as near as possible. It hovers rock solid, rolling circles, flys inverted as well as upright. Vertical rolls all day. I think you would like the A20-20.

Actually researching for a friend, but I will pass that along....
when you built your firewall.... did you mount it in the back of the cut out and mount the motor on to that...
or did you put the motor mount out at the nose and mount the motor behind the firewall??
Thanks
