Looking for a perfect 3D/pattern plane

In all honesty the best 3D Pattern is the EF Extra, I have flown the Hotpoint Fliton Prodigy but the Extra beats then hands down. She is so precise for a small EP plane. Its a 45" and the set up costs a little more but the enjoyment is really a lot more too.

The roll rate on the Goldberg shock is amazing, the plane is veryy precise, awesome vertical with the right stuff in it, very durable for a balsa plane. I've flown it, only 69 bucks!!! 39.25 ws, perfect!

I was wondering.. how is the new plastic frame of mobius? I can already image it breaking altough I guess that they would not change it when it would make it worse. That is my only concern. Overall, I read the manual and everything looked cool.

I have gotten a new kit from Paul with the new plastic parts, and I've got to say they weren't what I'expected, (in a good way of course
). Although I haven't flown with the new parts yet, the weight fells darn right the same, strengh wise, doesn't really matter your motor will snap off first anyways, but feels just as strong as the ply wood parts, and best of all, it looks so much cleaner.
I don't see anything wrong with them. In fact, I rather have the plastic parts now than the ply wood.

Another option is the Kalteisen O2. 36" wingspan.

Videos are online shoing the build process. Takes about 1 hour to build the kit:

Take a look at this one: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=EFL2425
I'm currently flying a Parkzone Typhoon which is a very good plane also, but waiting patiently for the EFL2425 noted above.

Let's start with the important part, I have more than enough experience to handle any 3d plane. ( I bet)
I want something around 40" and with a battery size up to 2100 3 cell. I don't want something that is over 400$ (servos, rx, motor, batt, and esc) I would appreciate any, foam or balsa. Foam cause of it's durablity, balsa cause of its looks. Oh yea, I would also like something with an awesome roll rate!
So far I have looked at E-flites mini Edge 540, Multiplex Acromaster, Airfoilz mobius, GP yak 54 (the new balsa one with 40" WS), BME Mini Yak, and finally The Mini Katana. I'm pretty sure that all of them are good, but which would be the best for parkflying, 3D, pattern etc...
I appreciate your input.

I have a typhoon already- great flyer, altough hovers are kind of challenging. What do you mean by EFL2425.
Oh yea and could someone explain the *motor snap off* thing on the mobius.. I will fix that before I will maiden and save myself from trouble.
Thanks

Well, it;s the mount the hacker X mount the hacker has, I've never seen anyone but one person get a event with it breaking off, but mikeygp has had one of the corners break off. But you know he flys and is so hard on the airframe, that lots of us can and will maybe never acheive to give that much strain on the plane. It's on the rcgroups thread somewhere, and theres a picture of it as well.
It has nothing to do with the plane/mobius.

I ended up buying a yak 54 from airfoilz. I got a combo, the one with Z-2213-20 and 20 amps esc, TP 1320, and Hitec HS 55.
I will try a 10 x 4.7 SF and than a 9x 6 E prop. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you, an for all the questions I asked... ( my dad liked yak better + The more I read about it, the more I liked it) Do you guys think that I can use the Hyperion motor on my other models.. (like the ones for A20-22l) I'm sorry again for all those questions...[sm=red_smile.gif]
