My order is in. Finally.
Well it's done and all that is left is the waiting. I ordered my spring fun time flying machines.
First I've ordered the [link=http://www.hobbyzone.com/rc_planes_eflite_byp_yak.htm]BypYak[/link], along with an extra battery pack of course. I've also ordered the [link=http://www.hobbyzone.com/rc_helicopters_e-flite_blade_cp_pro.htm#]E-flite Blade CP Pro[/link] with an extra battery pack. I was going to order two planes but after some long deliberation and research I went with the helimuchopter.
I also ordered [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMAJ0&P=0]this charger[/link] with the thermal probe.
A thousand dollars goes pretty damn fast I tell you. Now the waiting game begins.
Also ordered [link=http://www.hobbyzone.com/rc_planes_hobbyzone_super_cub.htm]this[/link] for my girlfriends' son a couple of weeks ago for xmas. That one should be here right soon.
I think I'll have my hands full for awhile now. I'm happy.

So the Cub is a good first plane? He's only 11 and has never flown, but has had some experience with r/c driving trucks. That and he's picked up real fast using my G3 flight sim.
I forgot to mention that I got the BypYak with the radio completion kit. I was going to get the DX-6 anyways and this was so convenient that the plane I wanted could be gotten with that particular radio.

Yeah the super cub is great. My favorite aspect of it is that it's pretty big (47" wingspan) and it is very smooth flying. If you possibly could, buy another hobbyzone radio, and you guys could set up a buddy box.
