Default What 3D plane with 123?

Hi.

I would like to fly with 123 cells but the planes I have are to small for theese cell packs. ( MiniKatana, JumpingJack, Prodigy... )
So I guess I should go for bigger planes... Coild anybody help me or tell me what 3D planes could do fine with theese packs?
Has anybody any experience with them?

I've tried them with miroheli Mini Titan and they work fine for sport flying

Thanks

Oscar

Default RE: What 3D plane with 123?

brand names ?
too many to choose but if --you select something with 600 -800 squares and all up weight with 5 cells at under 4 lbs - you will like the setups
Ihave also made 6mm flat foam models for 3 cells at 450 squares (all up weight 20 ounces) which are extremely good slow speed flyers
I am slowly but surely reducing my LiPo inventory to only very, very, small models --under one pound

Hi.

Thanks for the post

But I am very bad at lbs and squares []

Could you please put me an example of at least one plane?

Is there any plane that could fly with 3 cells instead of 5?

Thanks again

if you look at planes online they all give the wingspan and the wing area of the plane. I have a Mini Edge 540 ( e flite) and its 297 wing area I fly a 4 cell A123 2300mah cell pack in it.
it flys fine anything over about 38 inch wingspan and 400 inches of wing area is fine to fly with these batterys.

mini edge
mini show time
Funtana x
Filton extra 260
extra 540

there are tons of planes out there you can fly with A123's.

just depends on what you want.
