I have a hacker A20-20L motor w/ the 25a s/c and a 3s 2100 pack. What balsa plane would be best for this combo? I had 2 foamies, and I don;t care for them.

I have that same setup (except 1500mA 30C) in a Fliton Inspire. It's a pattern-hybrid. It goes together easily, has removable wings that mount on a carbon fiber spar, and is simply a great flying small field plane.

I would also recommend the mini-inspire, or another good plane would be the fliton prodigy, but it flies better with a 1320 pack. You should get very good flight times on that set up, it depends how large a prop you use and how far you push it, but 10-12 min easily. HS-55's are good on either plane.

Airfoilz are not balsa, they are foamies.

I was going to backhandedly suggest an Airfoilz as well....
the orignal poster said that he didn't care for them..
Which ones did you have and with what setup...
and not suggesting that you did this, but many people have poor setups, or just planes that aren't very good....
I love my airfoilz and actually practice IMAC with it....

The aero works extra 260 is a great little balsa plane for that motor. The eflite edge 540 BP is also very good, although I like the aero works better.

I am flying a Skeeter 36 with a Hacker A20. It is the best 3d electric I have flown. Its a profile and a kit, so 90% of you won't like it. I also have an AirfoilZ Yak, Copperhead Extra, 3d Foamy Sudukoi(sp?), and a Skeeter 30.
